Real Madrid’s January signing Reinier Jesus has been called upon by Zinedine Zidane to train with the first team as he prepares to hand the youngster minutes in the La Liga.

According Spanish media outlet AS, the Brazilian teenager is currently training with the first team and could be involved in the remainder of the Spanish season for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid’s Castilla side have ended their season after failing to secure a playoffs spot, while Zidane continue to call upon some of Raul’s men to bolster his squad for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.

Madrid are currently in the phase two of training, which allows them to train in groups, as they try to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in an attempt to restart the La Liga campaign.

La Liga chiefs and clubs agreed to the usage of five substitutions, which means clubs would need more matchday squad than the usual, and the Frenchman looks to integrate Reinier.

The 18-year-old was pictured at Valdebebas on Tuesday as the club took the second round of Covid-19 tests after he had been involved in the examination of the Castilla side on May 6.

Reinier Jesus was called together with defender Javi Hernandez to the first team squad and it is expected that the Brazilian will make his stay with the senior team permanent.

The teenager scored three times for the Castilla side after arriving from Flamengo in January and was unlucky to see his impressive honeymoon halted by the virus.

While he bemoans the chance to continue his displays for Raul’s men, Reinier would be presented the big opportunity for him to impress Zinedine Zidane with his qualities.
