After winning their last eight games since returning from lockdown, Real Madrid will face Granada in their next test on Monday night.
Zinedine Zidane’s side have not been too ruthless, but they have managed to achieve the needed result in every game they have played so far in the Spanish La Liga.
Madrid are two wins away from winning their 34th La Liga title and their third in nine years, and a win at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes will all but secure them one hand on the title leaving them with just a win.
Granada are unbeaten in their last three games in the league as they have plans to breakthrough into the top six in order to secure European football for next season.
The highest position the home side have finished in the top flight was 15th (in the 1973/74 season), and almost look certain to beat that feat this term.
Diego Martinez’s side find themselves ninth on the league standings, three points behind Getafe who are sixth.
El Grana were impressive in their last game, winning 3-2 over Real Sociedad, while Los Blancos also beat Deportivo Alaves by two goals to nil.

Maxime Gonalons, Alex Martinez, Quini and Neyder Lozano are all expected to miss the game against the league leader through injuries. Alvaro Vadillo could be available for the manager, with only a stomach issue being the challenge.
For Zidane, he will be happy to welcome back Dani Carvajal and Sergio Ramos into the team despite Lucas Vazquez and Eder Militao performing as good makeshift.
Marcelo joins Nacho Fernandez on the sidelines, with no other injury worry for Madrid.
