Considering the intensity of the fixtures in the coming days, Odegaard’s injury is a big blow for Zinedine Zidane who is keen to give more opportunities to the promising attacking midfielder.
After impressing with the national team, the gaffer was looking to hand him an opportunity this weekend with the Champions League campaign also coming up next week before the much anticipated league encounter with Barcelona a week tomorrow.
With the difficulty involved in recovering from a muscle injury, both the club and the player would have to be patient with the recovery process and hope that the player returns to his best before unleashing him once again.
