Real Madrid duo Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard both featured for Belgium in their opening game of the European championship.
The Red Devils beat Russia by three goals to nil in their EURO 2020 opener on Saturday night as they bagged all three points.
Courtois started in the post for Belgium with Roberto Martinez deciding to keep Eden Hazard on the bench from the blast of the first whistle.
Romelu Lukaku scored twice in the game while substitute Thomas Meunier was also on the score sheet for Belgium who cruised into a comfortable victory.
Hazard, however, was introduced in the 70th minute of the game, replacing Napoli forward Dries Mertens.
During his 20 minutes cameo in the game, the Madrid no.7 completed three out of four dribbles attempted. His tally was the second most completed in the Belgian team behind Yannick Carrasco.
The goalkeeper also managed just one saved throughout the entire period of the game, largely due to the good defensive unit of his side.
Manager for the side Martinez has already reiterated they are not going to rush Hazard, but are open to easing him into the team as the tournament goes on.
Belgium will take on Denmark in their next game, knowing that a win could help secure qualification into the next round of the competition.
