Real Betis vs Real Madrid: Match Preview | La Liga 2021/22

Real-Betis-vs-Real-Madrid

After a disappointing performance in their last league game, Real Madrid will make a trip to Seville to face Real Betis tomorrow.

The Los Blancos will play away to Real Betis in their third league game after what looks like a good start to the 2021/22 Spanish season.

Madrid has amassed four points from the opening two games played – beating Deportivo Alaves in the first game before drawing against Levante last weekend.

Betis, on the other hand, are yet to record a win this season after two games played. Sharing the points against both Mallorca and Cadiz.

Madrid have found it much easier playing Betis away from home as they have recorded four wins out of the last five games played in Seville, losing the other one.

However, with a new manager in charge in Carlo Ancelotti, Manuel Pellegrini will hope to put a stop to the dominance Madrid has over his team.

After a winless start to the campaign, Betis will obviously be looking for a win against Madrid while the latter aims for a replicate of their performance in their opening game.

The last meeting between these two ended goalless at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium last season.

WHERE AND WHEN?

Venue: Benito Villamarin.
Date: Saturday, August 28.

TEAM NEWS

Pellegrini will once again miss the services of Alex Moreno, Sabaly, and Diego Lainez for the game on Saturday through injuries while centre-back Marc Bartra faces a late fitness test.

Betis has no fresh injuries picked up and the gaffer should have a strong team to face the Los Blancos.
