Isco’s situation at Real Madrid has been complicated for a couple of previous seasons. The midfielder was not able to get into the starting XI during Zinedine Zidane’s second spell as the manager and was quite happy by the arrival of Carlo Ancelloti. The Spaniard enjoyed his time during Ancelloti’s first stint at Madrid and was an essential part of the squad, that won La Decima.

Isco joined Los Blancos in June 2013 after winning the Golden Boy award. He has won 16 major trophies at Real Madrid, including four UEFA Champions League titles, two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey, and four FIFA Club World Cup titles.

The 29-year-old was hoping to get more minutes under his belt with the Italian manager and become a vital part of the squad again, but things did not turn out well for the Spanish midfielder. A move out of Madrid could be on the cards for the Golden Boy.

Isco made 340 appearances for Real Madrid in 8 years scoring 51 goals and assisting 56. The midfielder always struggled to get starts in consecutive matches due to the presence of Modric, Kroos, and Casemiro, who are some of the best in business.

The deadline day signing of Eduardo Camavinga has been phenomenal for the Spanish giants. Camavinga is preferred over Isco in midfield owing to the spectacular performances by the 18-year-old.

The four-time UCL champion is most likely to land in Italy. Two Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan, have their eyes set on the galactico. Recently, the French club Lyon also got in the race for Isco to replace Houssem Aouar, whose future at the club is uncertain.
