Real Madrid will be back in action in La Liga on Sunday when they face Granada away from home.
Los Blancos was excellent before the international break and would hope to do the same in the upcoming games.
Gareth Bale is sidelined again after suffering an injury while on international duty. Federico Valverde has failed to recover on time and will miss the game against Granada alongside Dani Ceballos and Bale.
Carlo Ancelloti could stick with the 4-3-3 formation and can start any of the four Vazquez, Rodrygo, Eden Hazard, and Marco Asensio on the right-wing. Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior have already cemented their place upfront.
Here is our predicted Real Madrid XI for the game against Granada:-
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois
The Belgian will start in the goal as usual and will give his all to secure a clean sheet.
Defenders: Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal
Mendy had a massive impact since coming back into the team. Los Blancos conceded at an average of 0.6 goals per game when the Frenchman played, which is excellent as compared to 1.2 goals per game in his absence.
The Austrian has been fundamental at the back and has proved to be one of the best free transfers. Alaba is unshakeable at the back and is very efficient moving forward. He also won the award for ‘Best Austrian Player’.
Militao has been rock-solid and very reliable at the back for Ancelloti. The Brazilian was also brilliant while on international duty. Militao needs to be sharp against the likes of Luis Suarez and Unal.
Dani Carvajal has strengthened the team with his return and is always an attacking threat to the opposition. Carvajal was the only Real Madrid player called up for Spain’s national team for the qualifiers.
Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric
Toni Kroos is fully fit after the international break and will be waiting to get onto the pitch. The German is brilliant on the ball and can create chances for the team.
Casemiro has been in excellent form in the recent games. The Brazilian presence in the midfield solidifies the backline.
Modric had a successful campaign with his national team and will be hoping the same with Blancos. The Croatian maestro can break open any defense with his skills and experience.
Forwards: Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema, Rodrygo.
Vini Jr. has been the most creative player for Madrid and has been in electrifying form this season. The Brazilian is having his best season for Madrid scoring nine goals.
Benzema is the top goal scorer in La Liga and would look to add some goals to his name against Granada.
Rodrygo might start the game after fully recovering during the international break. The Brazilian is a constant threat running down the wings and is fearless to take on defenders.
