Real Madrid’s stability will be put to the test once again over the weekend when they face Real Sociedad in a blockbuster encounter.
The Los Blancos have been in a hood run of form since their last defeat across all competitions to Espanyol. The team is currently on a seven-game winning streak and a 10-games unbeaten run in all competitions, their longest in the 2021/22 campaign so far.
Real Sociedad have also had a dream start to this season’s La Liga campaign, winning eight of their 15 games while two have ended in a draw.

Sociedad were in midweek action in the Copa del Rey, beating lower-tier side Panaderia Pulido with a 4-0 scoreline to advance into the next stage of the competition.
In the last three meetings involving this pair, two have ended in a stalemate while Madrid has one the other one.
Real Sociedad’s last victory over the Los Blancos was a 4-3 win the Copa del Rey at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium.
In the last meeting at the Reale Arena, both teams could not find the back of the net as the match ended 0-0.

Nacho Monreal, Mikel Merino, Carlos Fernandez, and David Silva will play no part in the game on Saturday due to respective injuries. However, Imanol Alguacil Barrenetxea has a great pool of players to choose from to face the league leaders.
Ancelotti’s only absentees are Dani Ceballos and Gareth Bale. The latter trained with the team on Friday but the game against Sociedad nay be too early for the gaffer to give him a chance.
