Eden Hazard ready for remainder of the season, says Belgium physiotherapist

Real Madrid could be getting a fully fit Eden Hazard for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign, if reports by Lieven Maesschalck as to be believed.

Maesschalck serves as the physiotherapist for the Belgium national team and if anyone is monitoring the player’s progress closely, he should be a part.

He believes that the former Chelsea man is 100% recovered from the injuries he has sustained this season and should be ready to steer Madrid’s attack for the 11 games remaining in the Spanish La Liga.

“I know Eden Hazard very well, he did everything he could to be ready for the Euro and therefore he is now ready, not for the Euro but for the return of La Liga in Spain. I think that’s great. The pandemic has not changed his mentality,” said Maesschalck to De Zondag.

Hazard, speaking to Real Madrid TV mentioned that this month of preparation is very critical for him as he looks to returning to the pitch after spending the last two months without training.

“After missing two months and also recovering from surgery, I need more physical training and more training with the ball also, but I just want to be ready for our next game,” said Hazard.

Eden Hazard has seen his move to the Santiago Bernabeu disrupted mainly by injuries and continues to battle with his body to be a fan favourite in the famous white shirt.

La Liga is set to return on the 14th of June while Zinedine Zidane’s side play their first game against Eibar.
