Real Madrid will face-off with Granada on Thursday night hoping to pile more pressure on Atletico Madrid in the remainder of the fixtures.
Madrid, who now find themselves third and can go second on Thursday should they manage all three points following Barcelona’s meltdown against Levante after playing out a 3-3.
Zinedine Zidane’s side were held to a two-all draw against Sevilla on Sunday night at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium but the manager will be hoping to capitalise on their chances against Granada.
Granada have lost their last two league games and are on the lookout for a win after dropping down to 10th on the league table.
Diego Martinez’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture back in December but now have to focus on taking revenge against the Los Blancos.
In the three games that both managers have played each other, Zidane has come top in all three games hence Martinez knows he has a lot of work to do.
