Real Madrid midfielder Raphael Varane is reportedly eyeing a move to Premier League side Manchester United this summer.

Per reports in the Spanish media, the agents of the France international are hoping to begin talks with Man United this week over a potential move this summer.

Varane has just a year left on his current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and he is yet to respond to the offer by Real Madrid for a contract renewal.

The centre-back is also said to have turned down an initial two-years extension, with an option for more at the Spanish capital.

His actions has opened the door for suited to make a move for him, with Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain among the clubs thought to be interested in the 28-year-old.

Apparently, the Frenchman is unhappy over the club’s decision to negotiate with Luka Modric, Lucas Vazquez and Sergio Ramos ahead of him and intends to leave the club this summer.

With the club also looking for funds to make summer deals happen at the Bernabeu, they will not welcome the idea of losing one of their best players for a fee less than 60 million euros.

With the arrival of David Alaba and the resurgence of Eder Militao, Madrid are confident they can survive the loss of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane, should they latter finally leave the club.

Varane has been with the Madrid club since signing for them back in the summer of 2011 from RC Lens for just 10 million euros, going on to win so many accolades at the Bernabeu.
