Lucas Vazquez is excited to be back in full training with Real Madrid after struggling with fitness issues since the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

The winger is also hopeful that the remaining games in the Spanish La Liga could see Los Blancos record wins in all as they look to overtake Barcelona to clinch this year’s title.

Barcelona are two points ahead of Zinedine Zidane’s side with 11 games left to finish the regular season.

La Liga has been suspended since March due to the coronavirus but last month presented the opportunity for clubs to return to training in smaller groups.

Eibar would be the first test for Real Madrid in their quest to win all games as they pursue another league title since their last in 2017 under the Frenchman.

“Eibar is the starting point for the 11 finals we have left and hopefully we can record wins in every game until the end and win the title,” Vázquez told Real Madrid TV.

“We like to train with all our team-mates together, enjoying the football. It’s what we all like, training sessions in which we can all enjoy the football together. We’re training to try and get into our stride for the start of the season.

“Football is made up of several factors, such as the physical side, which is very important, and the mental side. That combination of the two means that we can go into the league in good shape.”

The Spanish giants are also set to hold their home league matches at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium with the Santiago Bernabeu undergoing renovations.

“We have made the decision to play in the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in our Ciudad Real Madrid all the games in which we will play as the home team,” Florentino Perez wrote in a letter to Madrid’s supporters.
