Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane have named the squad that will be traveling to the Mestalla to Valencia on Sunday evening evening.
Madrid have been dealt a huge blow with the club announcing that key players Eden Hazard and Casemiro have tested positive for coronavirus ahead of the game and will miss the encounter as a result.
Hazard has featured in Madrid’s last three games after overcoming his long injury lay off, while Casemiro has played a part in all of Madrid’s games this season.
Right-backs Daniel Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola continue their recovery from their respective injuries and are therefore unavailable until at least after the international break.
Martin Ødegaard also returns to the squad having trained with his teammates throughout the week and could feature on Sunday before jetting off to Norway with his national team.
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Andriy Lunin, Diego Altube.
Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Ferland Mendy, Sergio Santos.
Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić, Federico Valverde, Martin Ødegaard, Isco.
Forwards: Karim Benzema, Marcos Asensio, Lucas Vasquez, Luka Jović, Vinicius Junior Mariano Diaz, Rodrygo Goes.
