Real Madrid will entertain Eibar over the weekend in their next game in the Spanish La Liga before facing Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
Many have had to deal with more injuries this season and as a result, have confirmed more injuries than goals they have scored.
Zinedine Zidane however has no option than to assemble his possible best set up to face Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men. Here is a possibility of how the Frenchman could present his team
GOALKEEPER – Thibaut Courtois
The Belgium international is in good shape ahead of the most crucial part of Madrid’s season. The goalkeeper has played a key role for the club this season and he will be needed once again over the weekend.
DEFENDERS – Lucas Vazquez, Raphael Varane, Nacho, Ferland Mendy
With Dani Carvajal still yet to be 100%, Lucas Vazquez is expected to continue at right-back with Ferland Mendy also maintaining his position at the opposite end.
Sergio Ramos’ latest injury also means that Raphael Varane and Nacho Fernandez are likely to hold their partnership at the centre of defense.
MIDFIELDERS – Luka Modric, Casemiro, Isco
Isco could be the surprise inclusion in the team over the weekend considering both Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde are out injured.
The Spanish international will likely play alongside the never-tiring Luca Modric as well as Casemiro in the middle of the park.
FORWARDS – Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior
Asensio’s recent form makes it almost impossible to be on the bench for this game ahead of the Liverpool clash. He will be up there with Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior to lead the frontline.
