After a commanding victory in their opening game, Real Madrid will face another test from Levante as the post Zidane era continues under Carlo Ancelotti.

Madrid beat Deportivo Alaves with a 4-1 scoreline last weekend courtesy of goals from Karim Benzema, Nacho Fernandez, and Vinicius Junior.

Levante on the side could only manage a 1-1 draw away from home in their first league game against Cadiz but will return home to face the Los Blancos looking to pick up their first win of the season.

Except for the last two seasons, recent encounters between Levante and Madrid at the Cuidad de Valencia has seen two goals or more – Levante have won just two of the last nine matches they have played against Real Madrid at home, both ending 1-0.

Real Madrid won one and lost the other in the two fixtures they played against Levante in the 2020/21 Spanish La Liga campaign.
