Following Luka Jovic’s second debut for Eintracht Frankfurt over the weekend after sealing a loan move, the German club’s social media pages were delighted to have had the forward again.
Coming on as a substitute against Schalke 04, the Serbia international equaled the number of goals he scored for Real Madrid in 32 games. Jovic netted twice in his cameo off the bench to help Frankfurt with by three goals to one.
The forward is believed to have not received the best of treatment from Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, who preferred the services of Karim Benzema to the Serbian, who has not played a single minute for the Los Blancos since November before returning to Germany.
Having seen the great turn up from the 23-year-old, Frankfurt’s official Spanish language account posted on Twitter: “You just had to play him…! What a great homecoming, Luka!”

Luka Jovic is expected to spend the second half of the 2020/21 campaign with Adolf Hutter’s team, a club he played for before moving to Spain a year and a half ago.
