The goalkeeping vows continue for Real Madrid as Kepa Arrizabalaga has been sidelined for a few weeks following yesterday’s Champions League match against Braga where he apparently injured his right upper leg.
It’s said that he will be sidelined for around two to three weeks according to reports by the French news agency AFP.
The Spaniard felt something during the warm-ups yesterday and was eventually replaced in goal by the Ukrainian Andrij Loenin.
When he underwent further examinations, a tear in the right upper leg was revealed.
Which means he is definitely out of Saturday’s fixture against Valencia in La Liga, and follow that up by missing out on going away with Spain for the European Championship qualifiers against Cyprus (November 16) and Georgia (November 19).
