Eden Hazard is set miss Real Madrid’s encounter with Getafe on Thursday. The club published the squad for the game on Wednesday, and the Belgium international was not in.
However, Luka Jovic and Lucas Vazquez are back with the team and could be involved against Jose Bordalas’ team.
REAL MADRID SQUAD:
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Alphonse Areola and Altube.
Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Ferland Mendy.
Midfielders: Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Federico Valverde, James Rodriguez and Isco.
Forwards: Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez, Luka Jovic, Marco Asensio, Brahim Diaz, Mariano Diaz, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo GOES.
Zinedine Zidane’s side have the chance to stretch their lead over Barcelona to four points, after the latter played out a 2-2 draw with Atletico Madrid at the Nou Camp.
Hazard’s absence has been cleared of injury, bit it is reported that the club are only exempting him as a precautionary measure, after suffering knock in the 1-0 win over Espanyol.
Madrid will have to be extra careful considering how good Getafe can be on a good day. Bordalas has no injury concerns and should use his full squad for the game, as they fight for an European spot.
