Premier League side Chelsea have become the latest club to join in the race for the signature of Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon.
The left-back is said to be on the cards of many European teams, with Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, Everton all interested in bring him in for the 2020/21 campaign.
According to reports from Sky Sports News, the Blues are the latest club to register an interest in the 23-year-old as Frank Lampard looks to continue his spending spree.
The Spain international was on loan at Sevilla during the 2019/20 campaign, where he impressed during his short stint which has triggered interest from many clubs across the continent ahaed of next season.
Madrid are said to be willing to cash in on Reguilon who only had one year of playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu before being shipped on loan in the just ended Spanish season.
The Blues are also considering moves for Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, as well as Porto’s Alex Telles as Marcos Alonso looks set to be offloaded in the summer.
And Reguilon has been identified as a cheaper alternative to the players aforementioned.
Los Blancos are also reported to be hopeful of receiving around €20 million for the left-back as they prepare to raise funds to balance their books through the sale of players this summer.
