Real Madrid emerged triumphant at the end of another 7-goal encounter at Bernabeu against RCD Mallorca. Los Blancos netted the ball six times and conceded once. Marco Asensio scored a hat-trick in his first start of the season, with Benzema scoring a brace and Isco chipping in with a late goal for the home side. Lee Kang-in scored the only goal for visitors.

It was a troublesome start for the visitors who fell behind in the opening moments of the games. Luis Garcia’s men were close to scoring on several occasions but did not make the most of their chances. Mallorca never looked confident in the game and was defeated for just the second time this season.

The Spanish Giants took the lead in under 3 minutes with their red hot No.9, taking advantage of the slip from debutant Gaya, and then Asensio scored a brace in five minutes to end the half on top. Ancelloti’s men were solid from the start and scored three goals in each half to register the victory and continue their unbeaten run.

It was a troublesome start for the visitors who fell behind in the opening moments of the games. Luis Garcia’s men were close to scoring on several occasions but did not make the most of their chances.

The Italian handed Eduardo Camavinga his first start in the Whites of Madrid, and also, Asensio and Rodrygo got their first starts of the season.

Thibaut Courtois: 6

Courtois couldn’t do anything for Lee Kan-in’s goal and did not have much to do in the entire game. However, the Belgian made a good reaction save in the final moments of the game.

Miguel Gutierrez: 6.5

Miguel came in the squad after missing two games, but the youngster was brilliant. The La Fabrica product was a constant threat offensively and whipped in some superb crosses. The left-back needs to be more solid defensively.

Eder Militao: 7

Militao was shaky in the opening moments but gradually grew into confidence. The Brazilian made a staggering 11 recoveries which were the highest in the game.

David Alaba: 6

The Austrian gave a decent performance and was struggling to defend Lee and Lago Junior. Alaba registered one assist in his first appearance at Bernabeu.

Nacho: 6

The Spaniard put in a good shift at the right-back. Nacho also went forwards several times to provide an offensive threat. The versatile defender made some solid tackles and interceptions to deny the visitors.

Marco Asensio: 9

Asensio scored his first hat-trick in Real Madrid colors against his hometown club. The Spaniard was impressive on the ball and was very clinical with his finishing. Asensio was ‘King Of The Match’ for his spectacular performance.

Eduardo Camavinga: 6

The 18-year-old made his first start for Blancos. Camavinga was solid in the middle of the park and was calm on the ball. The home fans were very excited by the Frenchman’s debut.

Federico Valverde: 6.5

Valverde featured in every game for Madrid in the new season and has been prolific in every game. Fede was accurate in his passing and pressed Mallorca brilliantly. The Uruguayan was all over the pitch and produced another stellar performance.

Vinicius Junior: 6.5

Vini was excellent on the wings creating numerous chances for his teammates. Brazilian was able to get past the defenders with ease and assisted Isco for the final goal. Vinicius was close to scoring on a couple of occasions but lacked finishing.

Karim Benzema: 8.5

Benzema is on fire this season, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists. The Frenchman put in another quality shift at Bernabeu, scoring a brace and assisting 2 goals against Mallorca. Karim Benzema netted his 200th goal for Madrid in the 6-1 victory.

Rodrygo: 7

The Brazilian got his first start of the season and did everything right. Rodrygo was fantastic on the ball and was a constant threat moving forward.

Substitutes:-

Antonio Blanco: 5.5

Blanco replaced the debutant Camavinga to make his first appearance under Ancelloti. The youngster was solid in front of the defense and was precise with his passes.

Isco: 7

The Spaniard came in the 72nd minute by replacing hat-trick man Asensio. Isco had some neat touches in the middle of the park and scored a goal in the final moments.

Lucas Vazquez:5.5

Lucas played in his natural right-wing position coming from the bench. The Spaniard did not have much to do as the Blancos were already in a superior position.

Luka Jovic: 5

Jovic came in the final 10 minutes of the game and was close to putting the ball in the back of the net twice but could not take his chances.

Sergio Santos Fernandez: 5

Sergio made his senior debut against Mallorca in the right-back position replacing Nacho. The debutant did not have much impact on the game.
