Spain youth international, Brahim Diaz is expected to complete his anticipated move to AC Milan today after both Real Madrid and the Italian side reached an agreement.

Brahim Diaz will put pen to paper today after undergoing his medical tests, joining Milan on loan for two years with a buy option.

The two-years loan spell will see the Los Blancos pocket three million euros from the deal while AC Milan have a buy option with the fee reportedly 22 million euros.

After an impressive season with Milan during the 2020/21 campaign, the player was looking to become a part of the Madrid squad for the upcoming season, but has realised he will have to settle for lesser minutes should he stay in Spain’s capital.

The 21-year-old has now opted for the option to return to Italy, where he could be presented with many opportunities with the departure of Hakan Calhanoglu to rival club Inter Milan this summer.

Diaz was directly involved in 11 goals during his first stint in Serie A, scoring seven and proving a further four assists as Milan sealed UEFA Champions League qualification.

Milan manager, Stefan Pioli always stated his desire to keep hold of Diaz for another season and his wish could soon be granted with the player expected to finalise the deal in the coming hours.
