Spanish giants, Real Madrid has released their third kit for the 2021/22 season. The third jersey just like the first two is also made by Adidas. Real Madrid third kit for the 2021/22 campaign is turquoise with a subtle print as well as a two-color black-and-white Adidas logo, taking its inspiration from the Adidas EQT line of the 1990s.
Per an article published by Footy Headlines, ‘the design of the Real Madrid 21-22 third kit is inspired by Km.0 plaque of the Puerta del Sol, in the center of Madrid. The plaque marks the center of both Madrid and Spain, and it is the point from which roads in the country are measured.’
Madrid’s third shirt also has in it a design with “subtle compass needles” and a special logo on the inside of the collar.
Compared to the authentic kit, the inner collar detail is not present on the replica version, going on to show the difference between the two.
With the 2021/22 third kit, Real Madrid returns to use a colour that has been evident over the years, that is “Hi-Res Aqua”.
To match the Adidas Real Madrid away shirt, a simple black crew-neck collar with the Adidas’ logo and the club’s logo in white.
Madrid are looking forward to debuting their third kits for the season in the coming weeks having already used the home and away options.
