After a two weeks break from club football activities, Real Madrid is back in action once again as they face Granada in the Spanish La Liga.
Granada will host the Los Blancos at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, looking to bounce back to winning ways after suffering a defeat before the international break. Robert Moreno’s side was beaten by Espanyol before the break, losing with a 2-0 scoreline in their last league game, pushing them to 17th on the league table.
Madrid on the other side comes into this game with great momentum as they have won their last three games across all competitions – recording a 2-1 scoreline in their last three games. However, the challenge for Carlo Ancelotti is the fact that his side has failed to keep a clean sheet in any of the games during that run.
Madrid has not lost any of their last 12 games against Granada in the Spanish top-flight, winning all in that period. The last time Granada beat Madrid was during the 2012/13 season, where they managed a 1-0 victory over Madrid courtesy of a Cristiano Ronaldo own goal in the first half.
Granada has won just two of their 12 league games this season, losing five and drawing the other five while Ancelotti’s men have only been beaten once in the league this campaign.
